No License Yet also conducts Poetry Slams and various workshops for children. A poetry slam is a competition at which poets recite or read and perform their orignal work. These performances are then judged on a numeric scale by previously selected members of the audience. These events are usually accompanied by live music to add to the flavour of the evening.

Childrens' Workshops, conducted by No License Yet, not only help mould sensitive and caring young minds into tomorrow’s conscientious citizens, but fire up children’s imaginations, encouraging their creativity and natural expression. They also help them channel their thoughts better into their schoolwork by providing them a relevant hands-on context to their in-class science education. They also help them in their composition and essay writing, and help develop their analytical skills. Most importantly, they are a fun way to open up the minds of children and watch them find new ways of communicating and expressing their thoughts.
